Who We Are
MISTRIGRID PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62099HR2026PTC142870), operating the MistriGrid platform at mistrigrid.co.in, is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What We Collect
When you use MistriGrid we collect: (a) contact details you provide — name, WhatsApp number, address, and (optional) email; (b) service-request details — the issue described, preferred date and time; (c) for service providers only — identity documents (Aadhaar or equivalent ID), a photograph, and optional business or insurance documents; (d) basic technical data — language preference and sign-in identity from Google if you sign in.
Why We Use It
We use your data only to: verify service providers, match customer requests with suitable providers, contact you to confirm and complete a booking, respond to support queries, and meet legal or safety obligations. We do not sell your data.
Who We Share It With
To fulfil a booking, we share your name, WhatsApp number, address, and issue description with the assigned service professional. We also use trusted processors that help us run the platform — Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage in India), Google (sign-in), and messaging providers we use to send WhatsApp or email confirmations. These processors act only on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
How Long We Keep It
Service request details are kept for up to 24 months after your last booking so we can support disputes and improve the service. Provider verification documents (ID, photo) are kept for as long as the provider's account is active and for 12 months after deactivation, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner using the contact details below.
Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, request erasure, withdraw consent for any use that relies on consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise a right, write to our Grievance Officer using the details in the next section. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and respond within 30 days.

MistriGrid is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you directly. Continued use of MistriGrid after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
